PNP Constructions have completed many jobs within the building and construction industry, with extensive experience across project management, reviewing the scope of works, derailed reports and compliance audits. . Our construction team were approached to complete a full internal renovation of three separate units within a Stata complex. The units each had different requirements for their renovations, with different spaces that required transformation. The unit specifications were as follows:

  • Unit one: A two-storey unit with two bathrooms and four bedrooms
  • Unit two: A single-storey unit with two bathrooms and three bedrooms
  • Unit three: A single-storey unit with four bedrooms and one bathroom. This unit also contained a large outdoor area with an external landscape and sitting area.

Renovations of these properties contained additional challenges as they had to be completed within Strata Complex guidelines. The projects also were given tight budget constraints which the PNP Constructions team needed to work within.

How the PNP Team tackled Renovation

PNP Constructions assisted on this project from start to finish, assisting in initial concept images, designs, budgets, and programs. The team focused on creating and adapting different designs to highlight the property’s age and style, whilst working within the investor’s budget. It was also important that the team selected materials that fit project requirements and complemented the interior unit designs. PNP Constructions completed renovations by collaborating with industry experts and relevant trades, with our team managing all trades and site access. The PNP group also made certain to oversee budgets and payments, organising the appropriate agreements, insurance, and paperwork. Our experience in the building and construction industry made organising the necessary works, reports and permits simple.

The Renovations

It was important for the PNP team that across the renovations, all upgrades were achieved with the highest quality finish, upgrading crucial areas with a stunning façade whilst remaining within budget constraints.

PNP worked to manage full internal renovations of the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry. Across the kitchens, the PNP team featured the LUME Series, a porcelain glaze tile to add a vibrant finish and visual interest to the space. The tiles were intended to be a centrepiece adding a wow factor to the kitchen, in place of the typical store splash back. The PNP team, to complement the earthy tones of the tiles, chose a timber finish to fit the look together.

Across the units, five-bathroom renovations were completed with façade upgrades, again with a focus on the tiles, with upgrades across each to a premium Italian tile.

For the residents living within the Strata Complex, a courtyard was also created as a shared space for them to enjoy, with the inclusion of low-maintenance plants.
