The Case
After hearing of PNP Group’s quality service and outstanding customer feedback, we were contacted in regard to a client who required alternative design solutions for their home in order to accommodate their clinical needs. Although the client’s home had previously been renovated, the outcome did not meet their expectations and required further improvement. As such, PNP Group contacted the client’s occupational therapist, Barbara from Living Strength Care, in order to get an indication of the problem at hand.

Stage One
PNP Group made a home visit to determine alternative design solutions which considered not only the client’s practical needs but their personal style. At PNP Group, we believe a practical home can still be a stylish home.
After determining areas of improvement, PNP Group contacted the prior building company on behalf of the client to ensure that all communication was mediated through our service. Keeping the client’s budget in mind, PNP Group minimised any major building works and proposed key areas which required construction. As such, the prior building company completed remedial work in accordance with PNP Group’s proposed solutions.
With PNP’s extensive experience in construction, we can form a relationship with partnered building companies and ensure that the client’s needs are clearly stated through industry-based terminology. This is a significant benefit for the client who can feel confident that PNP Group will ensure their vision is accurately translated.

Stage two
Although PNP Group were given certain areas to focus on, the final outcome went beyond the original scope and perhaps more importantly, over and beyond the client’s expectations. Through our in-house design team, PNP Group proposed various innovative solutions which all revolved around the client’s special needs.
As a result, PNP Group ensured the approval for a widened door entrances a ramp leading to he entrance of the client’s home, a redesigned entrance to guarantee safety and security and a rebuilt deck in order for the home to have flat entrances. Therefore, the properties landscape and entrance points have been transformed to properly accommodate the client’s clinical requirements. Notably, these design solutions were formulated to be practical, sustainable and ensure long-term use while maintaining the client’s personal home aesthetic.
As a result, PNP Group formed a relationship with Living Strength Care for all dialogue between relevant parties to be mediated through our service. This includes daily and weekly updates on the progress of works with our trades onsite to ensure that we can keep our clients, occupational therapists and any other relevant parties updated on the works.
This also ensured that the client’s occupational therapist could provide input throughout the construction and view the outcome of PNP Group’s work. As such, the client can trust that PNP Group will act in their best interest ensuring their needs are our top priority.
Although the client previously had a negative experience in their home modification, PNP Group transformed this into a positive through our knowledge, experience, and client-focused service. This reveals our dedication to our clients to provide practical design solutions which tap into our innovative thinking and problem solving.
